I used to read the spectater’s comments and grades about the movie before deciding to see it. At this time it has many compliments about its spectacle scenes. But after seeing the movie, I’m totally disppointed. In the mood, it’s similar to Starwars which deals the story between the good and the bad on the space background. But the plot and its message of the movie are totally different with Starwars’.
Most of all, What I thought as the main problem is lack of tension. The story is very clear and very easy to anticipate the conclusion. In the end, the good finally win against the bad, captain Nero. And the competition and motional conflict between James and Spock are also very banal. It’s mostly due to the reason that this episode is the beginning of the whole series. It just focus on the introduction of tuture heroic activity of spaceship, Enterprise.
The plot of the story is so simple that most guys who see this flip feel boring.
