Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, announced the unveiled communication service on November 15th at Facebook headquarters in Palo Alto, California.
He has called this communication service not a simple e-mail offering but the “seamless messaging” service which includes text messages, instant messages, e-mails.
Someone call it “Gmail killer”. But its service feature is different with Gmail, according to Mark Zuckerberg’s remarks. This brand new messaging service will filter messages by the authority set-up such as “friends only” and “friends of friends”.
If Facebook strategically use mobile devices such as smartphones, the result would be different with Google WAVE which has been recently disbanded.
