There are certain necessary functions that smartphone users recquire. While users continue to download applications from online application stores, the performance of smartphones gets worse gradually. Also smartphones need to be charged more often than normal phones. So I recommend several applications to help enhance the performance and to save battery usage of a smart phone.
The first that I reviewed is a battery-saving application called ‘Juice Defender’. This application is run by the basic concept of that manages a connection to APN(Access Point Name) or WiFi hot-spot. There are a lot of applications that ceaselessly upload information to a center. Those trials for connection consume battery very quickly. So an application such as Juice Defender disconnects those connections under a screen-off mode. Many users wonder if this application works well.
In my opinion, the total score is ★★★★ (perfect is ★★★★★).
1. Does it really work?
It’s a difficult question. Frankly, I didn’t have the chance to test the overall effect of the application. But in my experience of 2 weeks, it was helpful in saving battery usage compared to not using the application.
2. Does it cause a phone to run slow?
Some applications negatively affect the performance of a smartphone. So the phone may slow-down or cause malfunctions. But JuiceDefender doesn’t affect the function of a smartphone.

This is the most important menu. It shows the status whether it is enabled or not. And if you scroll down, you can choose a mode which are divided into 5 types from default to advanced. I strongly recommend the default mode because other modes can cause malfunctions.
