The Dynamic Audio Service Comes Around

A few days ago, I wanted to know if there is an application for supporting podcasts. I don’t need to carry an additional device-iPod for podcasts. I found several applications such as gReader and Google Listen. And now I am using Google Listen and I’m very satisfied with its simple and useful functions. And my TTPOD, a music player, is also powerful to listen to songs and audio files. Even the player recommends the right music that I want to listen to and automatically supports the lyrics in the case of Chinese songs.

Surprisingly I find ease and convenience in using these applications. And these programs are free and I don’t need to buy its orginal device because it can act on Android smartphones. Audio and music markets are evolving to become more intelligent and convenient. And it also divides into several types of services. Although there are other viewpoints different from mine, the mainstream of audio services are clear for now.

1. more streaming
e.g. music label -> downloading service -> streaming service (cloud computing gets more important everyday)

2. more intelligent and social
e.g. recommendation by musicians (outsiders) -> recommendation by personal info and social networking (insiders)

3. more various
e.g. music+radio < music+radio+education < music+radio+education+audio book < … +personal audio-cast

Rather the audio services are more powerful compared to video services in many ways that it delivers easily and doesn’t need alot of storages or computer powers. I am very interested in the next steps of this industry.
