This service is called as the other name of “innovation of half price”. And this powerful concept makes Groupon incompatible with others. But it is a rare case.
So what is important to develop a service or product? Design it simple but it should be well considered by user behavior. Multi-function or high speculation may be not a critical issue for a start-up. Clarifying where should be stressed is the first step to make it simple. And it is the second stepon how to make it functional for user’s preference. And every step must have its own reason to why it exists. If you need a check-in, you should think about its meaning to users. It shouldn’t be like a fashion item which is made for decoration or to pursue trend.
