The total structure of the story is weaker than the former version, but action scenes are more spectacular. I think it’s just time killing movie. Though it suggests the sequel will be made, but the flot is not that important like the former.
If you expect the interesting scenes like changing cars into robots in Transformer 1, it would tremendously disappoint you. The movie lacks of attractiveness compared to the former. There’s nothing new. Just connecting to the former version, it accelerates entertaining scenes. Fortunately the director knows the weakness of the movie enough, so he seems to be obsessed with making various and dynamic action scenes like the battle scenes between the good and the bad.
