Last night, I heard that WikiLeaks exposed the positions of each country’s main structures and strategic places such as gas pipeline, canals and undersea cables. It worries people that these places might be attacked by terrorists.
WikiLeaks says that they are pursuing an even world without leaning too much toward a few of countries. So it has exposed confidential documents and this behavior would be helpful to make world more equal. In some viewpoint, it is plausible but the method how they do has brought unexpected negative effects too.
“Open it. Everyone will know the facts.” It’s extremely simple and dangerous. But at a same time, I am afraid of calling them traits. Though there are a lot of side-effects, I coudn’t easily decide their sincerity. And it’s very difficult to define whether this issue is the conflict between a small group and American government or the problem which can bring the whole world in a danger.
Amazon stopped providing a cloud computing service(EC2) for WikiLeaks. And Paypal also doesn’t support WikiLeaks. And the founder of WikiLeaks has arrested by English policemen. How does WikiLeaks do against this disadvantageous situation?
It occured to me that even press and media may misguide people. They just report the possiblilty of conflict and terror based on exposed information by WikiLeaks. In this situation, it doesn’t matter what would be right. I just hope that this issue doesn’t ignite another problem.
