Who cares about customers?

TextualAds has successfully been funded $650K for SMS based advertisement. SMS is very commonly used for promotions and campaigns. But the company analyzed detailed information from ‘Like’ and other activities in Facebook.

It’s very clear what the company gives to SMEs(Small and Medium sized Enterprises). Every B2B customers need accurate targets for efficient marketing. But I don’t know what will be provided to B2C users for allowing SMS from these SMEs.

Google recently released a mega-sized promotion for obtaining Ads customers. Google will pay $100 for 1 million customers. $100 million is not a small amount but people can hardly underestimate Google’s decision for the reason that it will get a concrete base for Adwords.

After the press release of Google’s attempt to acquire Groupon, Ads market has been hit by new entrants and the growing number of traditional players such as Google and Facebook.

But it seems like the core competition has been focused on B2B customers not B2C customers, general users. In retrospect, I think the key factors for success in Ads market are ads platform, B2B customers and B2C customers.

It’s very important to know what would be beneficiary for general customers.
