His former writing, “The world is flat” gives what the world will undergo in near future and how it’s going around. The issue about Globalization makes world gets closer than before. Though I got some insights from Friedman’s thoughts, some people are against his arguments. Even someone writes the book whick has the name of “The world is round.” Dicoupling and variousness between many counries partially exemplified the opposite’s assertion.
This book is including the notion which he focused on in former writing -“The world is flat.” Even further he added new concept in it – “Energy Climate Era”. He strongly insists of the importance of Eco-friendly policies from fossil fuel to bio-diversity. He makes his point more clearly. If we go further, we should think about enviromental problem. Even though western countries including USA have developed by the industrial revolution on the basis of fossil fuel, he asks the China has more attention on eco-friendly policies.
Among whole chapter, the most intriguing part of the book is about Smart-grid. It’s the system improving the efficiency of energy usage by regular check-up and auto-control of electricity distribution. Including Smart-grid, he suggests several ideas for sustainable development of the World.
I gladly recommend this book to anyone whether he or she has interests on Eco.
