Myspace, change for Y generation

A few years ago, Myspace was the name of SNS. But Facebook and Twitter has caught up with Myspace. And recently the span between them gets broader than last year. As Michael Jones, the president of Myspace, say that most members use services related entertainment contents such as music, movies and TV shows.

And now Myspace will focus on Y generation using those strong points. Though it has given enough reasons why users drop by the site and leave messages, decision time comes whether pursuing a contents-oriented service or a social networking service. If Myspace doesn’t make the position clear, user power would be threaten by both players, contents providers and SNS providers.
